Dusty Deco

Dusty Deco is a vintage furniture shop in Stockholm, specialists on industrial design. This is the home of the shops owner. I love how their home reflects their buisness idea, they live wirh what they do. It´s a beautiful mix of unique pieces and clean scandinavian interior. I found this post at the Swedish blog; things I like, things I love, but the photos were originally taken for Elle Interiör.

Kitchen neutrals

Even if a simple white kitchen always looks fresh, I find it more interesting if you colour it in neutrals. Add some personal painting, use vintage wood and a few unexpected objects. The result is a unique jet long lasting kitchen.

Kids room

Searching for beautiful things to put in our sons room is a constant process. I´ve written about this several times before. We have been living in this house for over a year now and we still haven´t finished his room. So here is some new inspiration I´ve found to make it his dream room.

Spring is in the air

Today I went for a walk in the city during lunch hour. It was sunny and spring was definitely in the air. It´s funny how everyone lookes so much happier, people smile at eachother after a whole winter of looking down at the icy streets. These images of light, airy objects with little hints of sunny yellow is a reminder of the feeling I had today.

Stylish dutch office

I had a look over at April and May and found these lovley photos by Mirjam Bleeker. This is the workspace of Reineke Joustra, a dutch stylist. I love how the colours work together and the simplicity of the space. She have mixed vintage furnitures with modern design pieces to make that personal feel. If my office looked anything like this I would never want to leave.

It´s sunday and spring is on it´s way. Life is pretty good. I´m longing for a simple life with just the basics and a little love. Surrounded by neutrals and natural material.

Modern retro in Brooklyn

I found this cool retro inspired home threw Husligheter, but it comes originally from New York Magazine. This is the 2100 sq ft bachelor pad in Williamsburg (one of my favorite areas of New York), designed by MESH Architectures. I really like the center courtyard with complete privacy and the extremely high ceilings. So if someone forced me to live there, I wouldn´t complain...

I have actually just booked a trip to New York, so in two weeks time I will be able to enjoy spring in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Can´t wait!!
