Greens of the day
We´ve spent all day in the garden today...again, trying to make some sense out of everything. Unfortunally most of our flowers are gone since the drainage work was done but some little plants seems to have made it anyway.

Signs of spring
For the first time in a very long time the sun has finally been showing it´s face all day long today. It´s been a fantastic day and I got some "springfeeling", so I went to the florist and bought some pretty flowers to celebrate. Ranunculus is my favorite and the other larger flower is unknown for me, but very pretty.

Pretty flowers
London based fashion photographer Nick Knight. It´s interesting how a photo of a pretty flower somehow can reflect sadness at the same time as beauty.

Bring me spring
Is there anyone but me who is longing for spring?

The love of succulet
I´m a novice when it comes to flower, plants and gardens. When we moved in to the house a whole new world opened up, full of greens in all shapes and forms. Last summer I ran around in the garden, taking photos of everything that grew, fascinated by it all. So now I have started to categorize plants in likes and dislikes. Mostly after what I can keep alive, and then of course succulets became a favorite. I´m in love with their colours and shapes, there are so many variations. What do you think, old 70´s plant or modern up-coming?

Hot pink
There are days when some hot pink just makes my day. It´s not my favorite colour but it still gets me, especially after a grey day like yesterday. Layers of pink; in wood, flowers or just a post-it... Sheer happiness!

Cardboard cactus |
Since I´m terrible at keeping plants alive, maybe this is the best idea. A "cactus grande" in a big black pot and our son could get a cardboard cactus for his room so he doesn´t hurt himself.

Fiddle Leaf Fig
Maybe it´s just me, but there are a lot of interior pictures around with large fig trees indoors. I have also read one or two design blogs writing about cactus. The trend for garden interest is entering the homes. The problem is just to find these great plants. It seam like the nursery gardens and flowershops haven´t caught up on this trend yet. At least not were I live...

Nice
Via: Dik Scheepers & Kelly Lamb
I just love the texture and shape in these items. The concrete and plaster-surface together with new shapes and compositions make the ordinary item look completely new and interesting. This is what good design is all about.
