Signs of spring

For the first time in a very long time the sun has finally been showing it´s face all day long today. It´s been a fantastic day and I got some "springfeeling", so I went to the florist and bought some pretty flowers to celebrate. Ranunculus is my favorite and the other larger flower is unknown for me, but very pretty.

As the weather in Gotheburg is still grey, I just felt for some sunshine. This is what I found...

This is my favorite colour combination together with favorite objects.

Cognac, caramel, honey...

I like, love and crave anything in cognac or camel right now. Brown vintage leather mixed with grey concrete and beige cashmir cardigans with dark grey chiffon. And a cognac after dinner....just for the colour.

Colours to bring me up

I´m home sick and things are pretty boring right now... So I was looking for something to bring me up and I found these lovely photos by Siren Lauvdal at Kråkvik & D´Orazio. They just made me feel a little better!

Snapshots at home

Walking around the house, I realize that I have a large collection of items bought on my journeys. Wherever I look something remindes me of another city or country. It´s quite nice. If the weather is grey and boring, I just take a glance at my poster bought in sunny LA or the pillow from Copenhagen etc, and suddenly life is just a little bit brighter again. So, here are some of my memories...

Eat your greens or put it on the wall

As soon as the snow melts of the ground, I get a feel for the greens. In all shades and shapes, all the way from dark oliv to the brightest spring green. On a glass vas or a big painting, it just gets me going.

I am a vase collector

I have an obsession when it comes to vases. Wherever I go around the world I try to find the new perfect vase. It has now become a collecion of at least a hundred vases in all different shapes and sizes. The favorite ones are from the 50´s and smoky coloured... I like to place lots of them together, using grass or weeds instead of flowers. I have even used dill or other vegetables. Anything works in a beautiful vase!
