Blogger´s Inn

Ah, I´m finally back after a few days of major internet disconnection. During my absence online, I´ve been to a really nice press-breakfast for the new Bloggers Inn room at Scandic Rubinen in Gothenburg. It´s a room especially designed for bloggers. Filled with all the technology one can require but also with great comfort and design. Frida Ramstedt at Trendenser have been in charge of the consept and execution. As the great talent as she is the result was great. Lots of personal touches that makes a nice hotelroom become fantastic.

Missing the sun

Ok, I live in Sweden, not in Brazil, but seriously...where is the sun? This isn´t funny anymore. I don´t want to play hide and seak. A grey sky and a jacket, is sooo not June. So in it´s absent, I give myself and all of you some sunny yellow to get things started.

It's a family affair: Bolon by Missoni

Blog your dreams

A few days ago Tant Johanna sent out a blog challenged, to show your dreams in images. We have bought our dream home, the problem is just that it doesn´t look anything like we want it to. We have a misstreated 70´s house and our mission for the next few years is to create something like the images above. As you can see we have a lot of work ahead of us.

Sweden

It´s the Swedish national day today. We haven´t had our national day as a 'holiday' for very long so no one have yet made any traditions especially for this day. At work we were all a bit confused what to do a day like this. What to eat, were to go etc. For me it´s been a lazy day in the sun. Perfect.

Pretty nice

Entering my fifth month of Weight Watchers, I look everywere for inspiration to eat well...and tasty. And now when it summer, what can be better than some ice and fruit. Mix them togther and my need for something sweets is solved! Watermelon, grape, lime, figs, even cucumber works. It´s not only great to eat in the sun, it´s also pretty nice to look at, right?

Outdoor

Days like these are hard to spend anywere else but in the garden (apart from one or two walks to the beach for a cool dip...). We removed almost everything in our garden last year to make space for a new and more contemporaty feel to our outdoor space. Our mission is to make a seamsless boarder between outdoor and inside. To create "rooms" in the garden for relaxation and entertainment. I am very fond of all kind of japanese grass and bamboo so the trip to our nearest plantery often results in a car filled with grass in all shapes and colours. I just hope they will like our cold winters...

I´m so into prints right now. I want to wear them, have them on my wall or anywear else for that matter. And for your information, I have always been a 'solid colour girl', but now it´s more; "the bolder the better"...

Kitchen dreams

My latest obcession is a kitchen makeover. We moved in to this house for two years ago and every room needs a desperate renovation...except for the kitchen that was brand new. The only problem is that we really don´t like what they did and we would love to make it "ours". Since the rest of the house is in bad shape, spending time and money on a new kitchen would be crazy right now. But, one can always dream, right? I think my Weight Watcher meals would taste a lot better if the surroundings would look anything like this...

New York trendwatch

I just got back from a lovely trip to New York. My mission for the journey was to fill up the 'inspiration account' for coming collections and let me sum up my observations with one word: NEON. I have never seen so much neon in my life and in such great ways. It didn´t feel '80´s teenage' but contemporary and fresh. Clothes, underwear, accessories, shoes, interior, menues at restaurants...it was everywere. To add this trend in to my home I think I will make a painting with neutrals and lots of neon!
