The Coveteur with Vouge Daily

 Kate Young, stylist
Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, Director of Fashion Lincoln Center, IMG Fashion Consultant
 Eddie Borgo, Jewelery Designer
Gucci Westman, Makeup Artist

The Coveteur (a hip new website) has linked up with Vouge to find out what some of the key players at New York Fasion Week think is necessary in order to survive the grueling event. The "portraits" are shot by photographer Jake Rosenberg.

I find it quite funny that it´s fashionable to revieal everything about yourself, including your personal belongings. We live in a world where everything is accessible and were peoples personal lifes no longer belong to themselfs. Even if I find it funny; I´m as courious as anyone else and love to look in to other peoples lifes. And when they are shot as beautiful as The Coveteur does...I´m all in.

What´s in your bag - blog battle

The blog Dos Family started a blog battle; What´s in your bag and I found this very funny battle threw Frida´s blog Trendenser. I felt that it´s something I just had to join. Hey, it´s fun. So, this is what ended up on my floor when I turn the bag up side down; my phone of course, a wallet that have been the best investment ever, passport (don´t know why it´s in the bag), the same goes for the paintbrush. Minitoothpaste, sunglasses (beeing used today for the first time this year), a notebook (you never know when a good idea visits), 0,3 inkpencil (can´t write with something else), my headphone, refrigeratormagnets in shape of polaroidframes and a pacifier (for my son). And I wonder why I think my bag is heavy...

Lotta & Pia

These are shots, styled by Lotta Agaton and photographed by Pia Ulin exclusively for Lotta´s blog. Lotta is "so in to fluorescent colours right now, not regular strong colours, but neoncolors like little surprising elements to wood white and blacks". That has been the theme for these pictures.

1. The plywoodchair "Tuoli" is a prototype by Fredrik Wallner, glasscube by Eva Lilja Löwenhielm is produced by Asplund and the sculpture comes from Note.
2.The shelf "Ivy" by Thomas Bernstrand is produced by Swedese, sculptures from

3.Stool by
Tom Dixon is distributed by Gulled in Sweden, "Loom" lamp by Benjamin Hubert is produced by Zero.

Toast Home

Toast Home just released their spring/summer catalogue and as always it´s full of inspiration. The pictures just makes me long for summer even more.

Anthology of a Decade

The legendary Hedi Slimane, former designer at Dior Homme, have collected his own pictures from ten years and is now releasing the book Anthology of a Decade in March. This is definitely a book I want on my coffetable.

Roman & Williams...again

I have written about this dynamic design duo before. Twice acctually... and I was delighted to see some new shots of their work made by talented photographer Ditte Isager. Roman and Williams are based in New York and have for example done some amazing work with The Ace Hotel and The Standard in NY. They have a very specific and personal style that makes my heart tick just a little bit faster.

Pretty flowers

London based fashion photographer Nick Knight. It´s interesting how a photo of a pretty flower somehow can reflect sadness at the same time as beauty.

Bring me spring

Is there anyone but me who is longing for spring?

Food obsession

I haven´t been able to eat more than a piece of bread in two days and since I am a big food enthusiast, you can imagine my joy when I saw these photos. Home-made, organic and lovely to look at (and I´m sure to eat)! Enjoy.

Colours to bring me up

I´m home sick and things are pretty boring right now... So I was looking for something to bring me up and I found these lovely photos by Siren Lauvdal at Kråkvik & D´Orazio. They just made me feel a little better!

Snapshots at home

Walking around the house, I realize that I have a large collection of items bought on my journeys. Wherever I look something remindes me of another city or country. It´s quite nice. If the weather is grey and boring, I just take a glance at my poster bought in sunny LA or the pillow from Copenhagen etc, and suddenly life is just a little bit brighter again. So, here are some of my memories...
