Home of a fashion blogger

In the latest edition of  Residence, Elin Kling (Sweden´s number one fashion blogger) is showing her and her boyfriend Gustafs home. An appartment in the center of Stockholm, that Elin describes as "bohemian chic". Most of the furnitures are brought back from Gustaf´s former home in New York. I love their mix of scandinavian classics, piles of books and amazing selection of shoes.

Anthology of a Decade

The legendary Hedi Slimane, former designer at Dior Homme, have collected his own pictures from ten years and is now releasing the book Anthology of a Decade in March. This is definitely a book I want on my coffetable.

Gifts and purchases

Yesterday my lovely designassistant gave me the perfect gift; The Selby is in your place. A interior book with a bohemian and alternative feel to it. My advice is just to get it, you´ll smile all the way threw the book. The photos are warm and messy, the little illustrations adorible and the people are genuine.

After work I went to an interiorstore called a&co in Gothenburg and purchased the poster I´ve been wanting for some time. It´s from Hagedornhagen in Denmark. Can´t wait to get it framed. Who said things can´t make you happy...  I´m sitting here with a glass of wine, reading my book and looking at the bug.

Ambiance

Certain homes, places and pictures have an special ambiance. It´s that stylish yet relaxed feeling that is hard to put in to words. I think it is the mix of very personal items, not being afraid of showing who you are, together with a soft colourpalette. The pictures above are perfect examples of what I mean.
