Summer plans

My husband just asked me where I would like to go, if we would make a trip anytime soon. I had to think for a little while, but soon realized that I´m content with where I am at the moment. For many years thoughts of trips to far places always keept me going but lately I´ve come to the conclusion that life is perfekt right here. I have the sea (most important for my well-beeing) a couple of minutes walk from the house. Great food (which is just as important) and my lovely family. What else do you need?

Selby - Charlotte Rust´s home

The Selby have a unique way of showing peoples homes, and this is no exception. Chalotte Rust, a stylist and vintage store lives in Auckland, New Zealand is opening her door to let us see her cool appartment. I think it´s a home like nothing else, very personal and with lots of little quirky details.

Sunday garden

The sun is shining today as well so it´s a perfect day for gardening. I will try to mix the two opposites, relaxing and getting some work done. But one thing is for sure; lunch will be served outside today...

A day at the beach

What a wonderful day! Axel and I took a walk down to the beach and spent most of the day playing in the sand. It´s great to finally put the feet into the warm sand and just breath some fresh air. I hope you all have had a great day in the sun.

Marlene Birger

Marlene Birger is an amazing danish designer who makes wonderful clothes for women. I want everything when I´m in her stores...  I´ve had her new book on interior design "Life and Work" for a while and it´s a true treat to turn the pages. With a true artistic mind and a sense for design she transforms living space into inspirational work of art.

Working at home?

Apart from the kitchen, the home office seams to be the place were one spend a lot of time in. I love how these photos show a modern workspace to be proud of. We have made the most central space in the house in to a studio; for writing, painting and playing. I like the feeling of beeing connected to the rest of the family even if I spend time by the computer or doing something else in the office. What do you think, is it time for the home office to leave "the smallest room in the back" and become a focus point?

London goes green

I´m back from my very short trip to London. We had a lot of work to do so there was very little time for anyting else, but I tried to take some pictures while we were running around the shops. The most obvious trend is the garden entering the fashion world. In all the trendy clothing stores they had "garden inspired" displays. I think it´s a huge trend for the urban fashionista to start "rooftop gardening". The urge to get closer to nature and grow your own vegetibles is a lifestyle that will last for a long time.

London calling
