A Wingårdh house

Gert Wingårdh is a well known Swedish architect and this is one of his projects, based near Göteborg on the Swedish west coast. I love how he is playing with the seamless feeling between outdoor - indoor. It has also an interersting mix between a classic red cottage and contemporary minimalism.

Little cute Mokkasin

My favorite blogger right now, Sofia at Mokkasin has just opened her webstore today, Little cute Mokkasin Mokkasin. It´s filled with lovely little items. Each product is presented in a very personal and joyfull way making me want everything...and I´m sure my son would agree as well.

Leather cravings

I just really crave leather details in my home right now. Especially the fantastic  "Adnet mirror" from Gubi as shown on the photos. But I´m not picky, any cognac coloured leather laptop-cover or detail will do.

Anyhow

Today I had breakfast with some of the other interior bloggers living in Gothenburg. It was Tant Johanna, Henrick´s tankegångar, Leva livet leende och StylistBagge that met and it was very nice to just talk about everything about interior and blogging in general. After the breakfast we went to Elisabeths store, Anyhow and just entering the place makes me smile. Wherever you look there are sweet little messages and gorgeous items to desire. The mix of product she´s got in the store is filled with humour and playfullness. I picked out something for my son, I´ll show you later...

Have a great weekend

I wish you all a great weekend. I will meet some other bloggers for breakfast tomorrow and the rest of the weekend will be dedicated to drawing and painting. Right now I´m in to "Indian ink" on handmade paper.

Shades of grey

The thunder outside inspired me for this grey post. It´s scary and cosy at the same time, listening to the sky roaring. Grey have a reputation for beeing dull and boring, but put together in the right shades, it´s a beautiful colour.

Sharp corners

I just found some lovely photos at Vtwonen of a home with custom made units. It feels like every square meter is well thought of and used in an innovative way. Sharp edges and clean lines create a modern and contemporary air, the deep blue accents and warm knits adds personality. I like.

A green moment

I just had a bit of a green moment. An image with a little bit of grass green just caught my eye and I got inspired. I know green is more of a spring colour but a rainy day like this it´s just what I needed.  A colour full of energy and optimism, don´t you think?

Danish style

In this months Elle Decoration UK a stylish home of the Danish fashion designer Helle Walsted is featured. I just bought the magasine a few days ago but were thrilled to see the photos again at La maison d´Anna G. I love the placement of moodboards all over the home, the large photos and the consistent graphic styling.

What a feeling

Wow, thank you all for your answers. I felt like a child on Christmas Eve going threw the comments and it´s like my circle of friends have expanded a bit. Just by going threw your answers it feels like we have a lot in common. Elina also returned the anwer with a question; who am I. So, here we go:

I live in Onsala, a little south of Göteborg in Sweden. My family, Gustaf, our  3 year old son Axel and I moved in to a house with huge renovation needs for about two years ago. My husband and I are both really interested in building and renovation but I have to admit that my interest in interior is even bigger. It´s an adicion!

I have been working as a fashion designer for the last twelve years, enjoying every second of it. I was seven years old when I decided what to do with my life and I don´t think I could have picked a better profession. I also have a passion for travelling (which comes in handy with my line of work). I´ve lived a year in Canada, a year in France and another year in Germany. Three years that have made me into who I am today. Meeting people from other countries and cultures is fantastic.

In my spare time, I like to be with my family as much as possible. Although bloging has become a big part of my life as well. It´s just so much fun and I feel it gives me energy more than it takes. Both Gustaf and I also like to paint and hopefully we will have an excibition soon. I´ll keep you posted...

Mood of the day

My day has been filled with work, trying to make beautiful clothes. Trying to use my imagination to create new designs. I just wished my office looked anything like this and that I could have a New York bagel with my coffee. How was your day?
