A fresh breeze

Every week Ikea hemma is sending out photos as inspiration. Most of those photos pass without getting me very excited but today was an exception. I really love the mood in these pictures. The first two makes me want to go to bed right away (saying that in a possitiv way...) and the other two have a nostalgic air that inspires me. A fresh breeze a grey day like this.

Easter sun

I wish you all the best easter ever! I hope to eat some lovely food, spend some time outside in the sun and maybe try to get my home a bit organized. After a lot of travel lately, my home and garden is in desperat need of some TLC.

Holly & Whyte

For the last ten months I've been working on a new collection called Holly & Whyte for Lindex. Today is the big launch and I am superexcited! To see more of the collection please visit a Lindex store or the website.

I am in the mountains skiing this week and only have my Ipad to write on so therefore I can not link to any of the websites. A "small" bug with Blogger and Ipad....

Go green

Come on spring, hit me with all you´ve got! I am so ready for a coffe outside, with my sunglasses on and my new spring shoes. So lets get it on, what are you waiting for...?

Right now I´m obcessed with geometrics. I love the shapes, like an uncut diamond. Throw in some metallic and I´m a happy camper...

New adventures

I´ve just packed my bag for an exciting trip to Shanghai! It will be my first trip there so I really look forward to it. Sorry for the rare posts lately but a terrible internet at home and too much at work have made me invisible here, but things will change when I get back. Until then, have a great time in the spring sun!!

Pastel time

If you have for some reason missed it...let me tell you that pastels are one of the key trends this year in fashion. It started out with Philip Lim, Prada, J Crew, Acne (and a lot of others) letting models down the runway in both pale and bold pastels. The fashionworld went crazy and soon everyone else followed. You will see a lot of it in the stores this summer, all the chainstores and smaller brands were quick to pick this up. Of course the interiorworld is doing their way of pastels. I really like the mint mixed with the nude wood...

Spring feelings

Oh, how I love these first days of spring! The sun has been shining the entire weekend and we have been outdoors from morning to evening. It the best feeling in the world to have the first cup of coffee on the terrace and then walk around in the garden to see green sprouts making their way to the surface.

I hope you have all had a fantastic weekend! I´m filled with energy to coop with this weeks challenges.

Great week

I´ve had some fantastic days in Paris. First of all, we were there to visit the large fabric fair, Premiére Vision but I also spent some times walking around the shops to see what french fashion presents this spring. Of course a visit to the design concept store Merci is compulsory. This time they had filled the store with stylish bikes and everything to do with biking. Bikes is actually a common denominator for all of the trend forcast lectures I´ve listened to this year...

I also had the great honour to listen to my favorite trend guru Li Edelkoort talk about Autumn Winter 13-14. It´s always a pleasure to hear her speak and I´m amazed of her accurate predictions.

After a busy week in Paris I went home to change suitcase and head down to Tylösand Spa & Hotel for a relaxing weekend with my family. Very nice, especially the great view of the sea right outside the window. The hotel is also well known for it´s large art gallery. For me, that was the best part of the entire weekend. My favorite artist was Jesper Petersson, a fashion and art photographer from Halmstad. I now have one of his pieces on my "wish list".

Paris Paris

I´m off to Paris for a couple of days. Hoping for lots of great fashion and some eyecandy in my favorite interior store Merci. I´ll let you know how it was...

White on white

I´ve spent all day today out on the frozen sea, walking around on the ice with nothing else but white snow as far as I could see. Beautiful, especially since the sun greated us with it´s presents. So today I go all white even in this post.
